The University of the Western Cape (UWC) Library is committed to providing a quality information service in support of and to enhance the teaching, research, scholarship and creative work of the University. In order to achieve this objective, Faculty Librarians must ensure that the Library provides for the information needs of staff and students; through collection development in support of learning, teaching and research activities. Faculty Librarians engage with academic staff through regular communication as well as attending Faculty Board, faculty Library and Learning and Teaching Committee meetings.
