Information Literacy
The University designated graduate attributes to guide lecturers in developing the student knowledge, skills and competencies to become lifelong learners. The Library provides expertise in developing graduate attributes in support of the academic programme.
The Library endorses the ACRL Framework for Information literacy for Higher Education as a guide to embed critical information literacy skills in teaching and learning across the institution. The Library provides a detailed overview of the ACRL Framework and its relevance to student learning via the tutorial below: 21st Century Literacies and Graduate Attributes Tutorial.
On request, the Faculty Librarians provides individual and group Information Literacy training to students. They also maintain an online, self-paced Information Literacies tutorial, which contains seven modules to help students develop their knowledge and skill in working with information sources.
